Nestled in Saint-Christophe des Bardes, this prestigious estate, elevated to Grand Cru Classé in 2022, boasts historic cellars from 1687. Axelle and Pierre Courdurié took the helm in 2013, crafting just 400 cases of this Grand Vin annually— cementing its status as one of the last “garage wine” icons of the 1990s. Spanning 5.7 hectares of clay-limestone and gravel-clay soils, the 50-year-old vines (mostly Merlot, with dashes of Cabernet Sauvignon and Franc) thrive under organic and biodynamic care, hand-picked for perfection.

The focus and texture of this wine is really something. It's totally transpatent with blackberries, blueberries, earth, stone and mushrooms. Flowers too. Full-bodied with firm tannins that give super form and length to this. Freshness. Almost all merlot with tiny dash of cabernet franc and cabernet sauvignon. Perhaps the best ever? Certainly at the same level as the 2019. About 14,000 bottles made.
