Château Croix de Labrie
AOC Saint-Emilion Grand Cru

Organic and Vegan Red Wine

Château Croix de Labrie wines are renowned for their rarity and unique character.

Their rich, dense flavors and perfect grape maturity are complemented by a deep, elegant color and delicate finesse. This wine displays a balance of freshness and power, with the potential for over 15 years of aging.

Located in the prestigious terroirs of Saint-Emilion, Château Croix de Labrie's vineyards on Badon and Saint-Christophe des Bardes boast a mix of brown and limestone soils, with added complexity and density from iron dross and starfish fossils. With its draining soil, Badon produces wines with exceptional finesse. Saint-Christophe-des-Bardes, on the other hand, brings depth and complexity.

Deeply colored, almost opaque in color, the wine opens with a blast of chocolate, black cherry liqueur, blueberries, licorice, espresso and licorice. But as good as the nose is, the palate is the star of the show. Corpulent, lush and polished, the wine coats your palate, yet, it manages to retain lift, balance and freshness, finishing with layers of opulent, perfectly ripe fruits that linger. You can enjoy this young, or age it for more complexity, Drink from 2024-2045

James Suckling

James Suckling:  98 -99 Points

The focus and texture of this wine is really something. It's totally transpatent with blackberries, blueberries, earth, stone and mushrooms. Flowers too. Full-bodied with firm tannins that give super form and length to this. Freshness. Almost all merlot with tiny dash of cabernet franc and cabernet sauvignon. Perhaps the best ever? Certainly at the same level as the 2019. About 14,000 bottles made.
