Aromas of blackcurrant, violet, and redcurrant, and notes of coffee, peppers, and spices, this organic and vegan red wine offers a complex and satisfying taste. The Château d'Ampuis, once owned by the Lord of Maugiron, was (ironically for our focus on vegan wines) the site of a groundbreaking event in 1553 when the first turkeys were served in France. Today, this wine named the daughters of Lord Maugiron, showcasing the unique terroirs of Côte Blonde and Côte Brune with their distinct mica schists, arzel, gneiss, and granite compositions. Expertly crafted and vegan, this fine wine is to us a legacy of change. Suitable for all robust meals or for fine wine reflection by itself as it evolves in the glass.

Grapes: a blend of 95% Syrah and 5% Viognier, this wine is aged for 24/36 months in new oak barrels for the perfect balance of flavors.

Aging potential: 15-20 Years

This wine is not for those looking for new fruit charachter of the Rhone Syrah grape- it is one that allows the wine connoisseur savour the nuances of a layers of flavour of a red wine that can age. Best served with a special meal.
